Meal planning – some have a love/hate relationship with it. I love to plan my meals out ahead of time, and having an easy system in place definitely helps it go smoother!

Meal planning can save you so much time and money. You’ll save time in the grocery store and in the kitchen, waste less food, and spend less at the grocery store. It really can be so beneficial!

I love to plan my meals on Sunday for the coming week. I just use this easy 5 step guide and write my menu out on a simple chalkboard that hangs in my kitchen.

It can be hard to get started meal planning, and honestly hard to keep it up. That’s why I created this simple Meal Planning Checklist as a free printable to help you!

Fill it out once a week, following the easy 5 step meal planning system, and see the savings add up!

Here is the Free Meal Planning Checklist Printable:

Remember to fill this checklist out once a week – first checking your calendar, then checking your fridge/freezer/pantry, then looking at the sales ad, making your weekly menu, and finally making your grocery list. Keep at this for a couple of months and you will find it becomes a simple part of your routine!

Keep a few of these ready to go in the kitchen. The easier you make it on yourself, the more likely you will be to stick with meal planning.

And if you stick with it, I know you will see the savings stack up!

Try some of these super easy $2 per person meal ideas to get started.
