One Month Meal Plan: 30 Dinner Ideas

This post may contain affiliate links. If you click and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products and services I use and love. Thanks for supporting The Little Frugal House!

Today I wanted to share a new way to try meal planning – a whole one month meal plan.

That’s what I’m trying this month, and I wanted to share this with you. If meal planning sounds like another task to do each week, try doing a whole month at once and then you won’t have to think about it again for a few weeks.

This is a great way to save money as well, since you know what you’ll be making and can shop ahead when you see great deals and buy things in bulk for multiple meals.

One Month Meal Plan: 30 Dinner Ideas

Want to try a one month meal plan instead of weekly meal plans? Check out these 30 quick and easy dinner ideas to plan a whole month of meals!

I’m giving Butcher Box a try, so I made our meal plan around the package of meat I got.

I’m just using the month page in my planner to plan these meals out. You could do the same or print our a month calendar and write them all down to stick on your fridge.

Here’s my September meal plan:

  1. Burgers, tots, mac & cheese
  2. BBQ sandwiches, green beans
  3. Roast with potatoes and carrots (slow cooker), corn muffins
  4. Lasagna (frozen), salad kit, breadsticks
  5. Flatbread pizzas, salad kit
  6. Beef tacos, rice, chips & salsa
  7. Italian grilled chicken, corn, fried okra, rolls
  8. BBQ loaded potatoes, salad kit
  9. Roast with potatoes and carrots (slow cooker), corn muffins
  10. Burgers, fries, salad kit
  11. Sirloin steak, baked potato, green beans, rolls
  12. Chicken Alfredo, salad kit, garlic bread
  13. Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, green beans
  14. Spaghetti and meatballs, salad kit, breadsticks
  15. Ranch chicken, fried potatoes, peas, rolls
  16. BBQ sandwiches, mac and cheese
  17. Tacos, rice, chips and queso
  18. Lasagna (frozen), salad kit, breadsticks
  19. BBQ chicken, corn, fried okra, rolls
  20. Chicken tacos, rice, chips and salsa
  21. Chicken parmesan pasta, salad, garlic bread
  22. Chicken tenders, corn, green beans, rolls
  23. Burgers, tots, green beans
  24. BBQ sandwiches, fries
  25. Sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls
  26. Roast with carrots and potatoes, corn muffins
  27. Hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas
  28. Sheet pan pizza, salad kit
  29. Chicken quesadillas, rice, chips and queso
  30. Spaghetti and meatballs, salad, garlic bread

So, there’s our meal plan for the whole month of September. I’m sure a few things will change, but at least it gives me a plan to work off of.

This feels great to have the whole month planned for dinner, so I know what to stock up on and I can make bigger batches of some things to freezer for an easier meal later on.

Give monthly meal planning a try and see how you like it!
