Get ready for a fun 4th of July cookout or party with this fun American ribbon flag! You only need a few supplies and just a little time for this fun DIY.

4th of July American Ribbon Flag

Note: This project took a lot more ribbon than I was anticipating, so I would recommend ordering bulk ribbon to get a better price. Check out these options: Red Ribbon, Red Gingham Ribbon, White Lace Ribbon

Materials Needed:

Navy with white stars fabric Red, white, and cream ribbon – about 30 yards total Hot glue gun and glue sticks Scissors

Directions:

1. Cut your star fabric into a 10″x12″ rectangle.
2. Measure and cut ribbons at 3′ for the right (longer side).
3. Cut ribbons at #” for the left (shorter side) under the stars. I had some leftover pieces that I still used, even though they were shorter.
4. Hot glue the hanging ribbons and star fabric to the back of the top horizontal ribbon.
5. Add additional ribbons to the front if you wish.

I love how this project turned out!! The different ribbons look great hanging together! I plan to hang this outside on our patio and let it blow in the wind. Now, what to do with this leftover star fabric….
