Looking for the perfect homemade Father’s Day gift? Here is a list of 13 of my favorite DIY Father’s Day gifts!

Dads are hard to find gifts for, they seem to have everything! So a DIY gift is perfect!

13 DIY Father’s Day Gift Ideas

  1. Wooden Toolbox Crate

You’ll need just a few tools to complete this project, and you’ll have a neat crate Dad can store his tools in or use as a handy catch-all on his dresser. This is a great tutorial to follow!

  2. Wooden Sign

Think of Dad’s favorite movie quote, bible verse, or saying and make a wooden sign for him. He’ll love hanging it in his garage or office. Just grab some scrap wood and paint! Here are some ideas to get you started.

  3. American Flag

I love a wooden American flag and there are tons of tutorials on Pinterest to walk you through making one! Check out this one.

  4. Scrapbook/Photo Album

A sweet gift for a new Dad could be a scrapbook with family pictures, special memories, and handwritten notes. I love this scrapbook album or you can make a digital one with Mixbook.

  5. Funny Tshirt

Does your Dad love a funny tshirt? Grab a blank shirt like this one, and make an iron on image with your Cricut. You could use a funny movie quote, a Dad joke, or something he always says.

  6. Beer Opener Sign

All you need is a piece of scrap wood, some paint/stain, and a bottle opener. Paint something like The best beer is an open beer, or Beer Me. Then, just screw on the bottle opener! Dad will love hanging this in the garage or on the patio and having a handy bottle opener when he needs one! Here is a handy tutorial.

  7. Candy Jar

Grab a Mason jar and Dad’s favorite candy. Fill the jar up and add a sweet or corny note!

  8. DIY Coasters

Is Dad always getting yelled at for making rings on the furniture? Make him some cool coasters out of square tiles. You can add vinyl cut outs, or make some cool beer coasters like these. How to Make Beer Coasters! Even guys love these!

  9. Scrabble Tile Picture Frame

Love playing games with Dad? Incorporate that into your gift! Grab a simple picture frame, add a fun photo of the two of you, and spell out a word with Scrabble tiles. You could spell Best Dad, Love You, or something funny he always says.

  10. Popcorn Gift

Grab some popcorn and add a note “Best Pop In The World!” Add some more snacks or a movie for a night of family fun!

  11. Kick Back and Relax Gift

Tell Dad to “Kick Back and Relax!” with a gift of slippers, snacks, a movie, and candy. You could even wrap it up with his favorite blanket and the remote. Place the basket in his chair – every Dad has “a chair” right?! 😉

  12. Homemade Card

Homemade cards are especially cute from little ones! Wrap a bag of Peanut M&M’s with a note from your kiddo saying “Love Your Little Peanut!”

  13. Grill Tool Organizer

Is Dad the king of the grill? Make a wooden sign with some hooks for Dad to hang his grill tools. I love this one to give you an idea.
