Do you want to make your own DIY Christmas onesies for your baby or a gift? This simple Cricut tutorial will help you make the cutest DIY Christmas bodysuits for baby!
I have been having so much fun with my Cricut Joy lately! My newest projects are these sweet Christmas bodysuits for my daughter. I love how they turned out!
This project was very simple and quick. I’ll show you how I made these Christmas shirts for my baby!
DIY Christmas Bodysuits for Baby: Beginner Cricut Project
These were so fun to make, and they didn’t take very long at all! You can make your own DIY Christmas bodysuits for your baby boy or girl, too!
Here’s the supplies you’ll need:

Cricut machine – I used my Cricut Joy
Step by Step Directions:
Find directions for each design below!
Here’s how to make the My First Christmas bodysuit:
1. Open Cricut Design Space and click New Project.
2. Add text and change the letter spacing.
Type My First Christmas using two lines of text. I used the Babette font, and changed the letter spacing until I was happy with the look.
3. Click Make It and make your selections.
Make sure to select Mirror on for the iron on to cut correctly. Choose from the selections what material you are using and if you are using a mat.
Place your white iron on material glossy side down on the cutting mat.
4. Click Go and let your Cricut cut the design.
5. Remove the design from your cutting mat and weed out your design.
Remove the excess material from your design.
6. Cut out a Christmas tree design.
Find a Christmas tree from the images tab.
Use the steps above to make a Christmas tree iron on design with gold glitter iron on material.
Weed the excess material.
7. Place the designs on your bodysuit.
8. Use your heat press to apply the design.
Use your heat press owner’s manual for temperature and time suggestions. I pressed my design at 320 degrees for 30 seconds.
Let the design cool for a few minutes before you remove the clear backing.
Here’s how to make the Merry & Bright bodysuit:
1. Open Cricut Design Space and click New Project.
2. Add text and change the letter spacing.
Add the Merry and Bright text and change the letter spacing until you are happy with the look. I used the font called A Child’s Year.
If you use multiple font blocks, click the select all icon and weld the designs together to make one design.
3. Click Make It and make your selections.
Make sure to select Mirror on for the iron on to cut correctly. Choose from the selections what material you are using and if you are using a mat.
Place the red glitter iron on material glossy side down on the cutting mat.
4. Click Go and let your Cricut cut the design.
5. Remove the design from your cutting mat and weed out your design.
Remove the excess material from your design.
6. Place the design on your bodysuit.
7. Use your heat press to apply the design.
